
The final 48 hours of the 2017 Walleye Derby Invitational and the Junior Division anglers are Ketching some outstanding fish.
Jack Mochan pulled a day night double header on Saturday. Fishing both Cleveland in the day and Lorain at Night, he was able to bring this 9.6lb walleye to the scales at 2:00 AM

Kylie Putka working the December’s full moon, put a dark colored lure program to work. Trolling a Halloween Bandit deep over rock piles, helped her catch this 8.34lb walleye.

Santiago couldn’t have been happier than to bring his 7.78lb walleye to the scales. He had a great day fishing, including catching a bigger fish than his brother, Juanillo.

Frankie was all smiles when he caught this gorgeous walleye on a lure from the Dirty Santa Lure Gift exchange he participated in. He was amazed on how well this lure looked in the water. The walleye though it was cool too.

The Walleye Derby is an 18 day fishing contest on Lake Erie for Walleye. There is an adult and junior division. The angler who weighs in the heaviest walleye during the 18 day period is the winner.
